It was a frightening scene in Quatro Pontes, Brazil, as a grandstand holding approximately 500 people suddenly collapsed during a car race event causing over 100 injuries, 22 of which were described as critical.Reports indicate that the wind may have factored into the grandstand's collapse, however, an investigation by the state of Paran� is underway to determine whether there were any structural issues which caused the accident.� But if the results state that structural issues were in fact the cause of this disaster, should we really be surprised?� After all, what else would you expect from a venue that is hosting races between station wagons?
