There have been rumors swirling that Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith would like to become a San Diego Charger for the upcoming season.
This is still a developing story and nothing can even be discussed between the Panthers and Chargers due to the lockout. While Steve Smith would look good in a Chargers uniform, there are still many hurdles that lie ahead, including his remaining contract that is due to pay him around $14 million over the next two years.
