The dude who caught Derek Jeter's 3,000th hit opted to give the ball back to the team instead of keeping it and selling it for upwards of $250,000 at auction. The Yankees thanked him by showering him with four box-seat tickets for the 32 home games left in the season. A pretty sweet deal for a Yanks fan except for one thing:
