According to the�Mirror, Arsenal are apparently interested in a move for Lazio striker Mauro Zarate, who is one of the best strikers in the Serie A.
The striker, though not the most prolific, is quite talented and could fit in with Arsenal's style of play. He could also play as a winger which provides good depth to that position as well considering that there remains the possibility that Nasri could leave the club.Zarate could be an important player if he is signed by the Gunners and at the age of 24, he still has a bright future ahead of him. He has apparently fallen out with Lazio manager Edy Reja and his agent revealed that he was in talks with both Arsenal and Tottenham. The striker is valued at around���15 million and it is uncertain if Arsenal will spend the money to sign the striker and with Tottenham also interested, he could not be available at a bargain price.
