The New York Mets have been in the middle of a roller-coaster season this season with several players included as passengers.
Among them, on Opening Day, was Francisco Rodriguez, Carlos Beltran and Jose Reyes.First, there were reports that Mets GM Sandy Alderson was taking calls and offers on him. Then, the news broke just weeks before the trade deadline that the Mets were no longer shopping him. In fact, they were looking into trying to resign him on a long-term basis.
