People wanted me to spell out exactly what was going to happen, which players would break out and which would tank.Deion Branch, NE. One of the main storylines I suggested was watching the New England Patriots sans Randy Moss to see who would emerge as the top option there. Little surprise, it was Branch in his first week back with the Pats, snagging nine catches for 90-plus yards and a TD. Not too shabby. My gut here, however, is that New England passes the love in large doses to different receivers moving forward.

NFL Week 6 Picks Patriots in a game Well the 49ers in the worst
Last week was my anniversary weekend with my lady, so I didn't have time to post a game predictions article.
Probably for the best, as I went a pretty dismal 7-7. I'll try and do better this week. Last week's record: 7-7� 2010 season record: 43-33 (56.6 percent) Bears over Seahawks: The Bears offensive line is certainly a mess, but I'm not a huge fan of the Seahawks either. I think the return of Jay Cutler will give Chicago the boost they need to win. Dolphins over Packers: Conventional wisdom says the Packers are the pick if Aaron Rodgers plays, but I still think Green Bay is too banged up in other areas.

We all know the great Phil Jackson and Pat Riley as the base coaches to know over the past two decades. Then there is the knowledge of the coaches who just plain stink, like Randy Wittman and P.J. Carlesimo who just aren't NBA coaches. With those two levels, there is an intermediary level which most coaches in the league find themselves at.
As Rodney Dangerfield use to say: "I can't get no respect." That is a quote that could at least partially sum up most of these coaches at this time to the public. There is no love fest going on by ESPN or NBA network for them and they aren't thought of when it comes to greatest. They have been around—with the exception of Spoelstra—for at least a decade and made their impact for better and worse.
