Did former NBA player Manute Bol invent the phrase My Bad

Manute Bol was known for some things other than basketball.

He used a majority of his earnings from his basketball career to raise money for Sudanese refugees and youth and he is also the only known NBA player who once killed a lion with a spear. But did he also invent the phrase "My Bad" ?
