Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz successfully defended his title Saturday in San Jose California, defeating Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos via armbar submission with 10 seconds remaining in the second round of their bout.Santos briefly fought the hold but a heavy punch to his abdomen left him distracted and Diaz was able to quickly take advantage and sink in a brutal armbar that left Santos grimacing in pain and submitting with 10 seconds left in the second round.
