This year, Raymond Felton has been a pleasant surprise for the New York Knicks.
He continues to perform at an All-Star level he hadn't been able to play at in Charlotte.Felton has the age and the defense at this point, and that gives him the edge. New York needs a long term producer, and that is what Raymond Felton is for them. Nash has a maybe one or two good years left in him, and unless New York obtains Carmelo Anthony, they will not be instant contenders in that time, meaning they should stick with the youth they have.
