One baseball bettor made a small fortune fading the worst team in the majors, betting against the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates in all 162 games this season.

Louis Oosthuizen Wins First Major at British Open

A week after the World Cup ended, South Africa had more reason to celebrate Sunday, this from a most unlikely source.

Louis Oosthuizen, a 27-year-old who had only made one cut in his previous eight majors, blew away the field at St. Andrews for a British Open victory that looked as easy as when Tiger Woods first won here a decade ago.
